Only what the shop uses

This site uses an essential first-party session cookie and, after an explicit choice, a first-party cookie recording that preference. No advertising pixel, marketing network, third-party analytics service or optional tracking script is installed. An Accept choice does not silently load one.

Essential session inventory

broadbent_session is a first-party, HttpOnly session cookie with SameSite=Lax. Its maximum lifetime is 2 days. It connects your browser to the server-side cart, security token, checkout draft, request keys and session-bound confirmation; it does not contain an itemized order or banking credentials. On HTTPS its Secure flag prevents unencrypted transmission.

This storage is needed for the cart and secure form handling and is active regardless of your optional preference. Blocking or deleting it can empty the cart, invalidate a form or remove access to the confirmation on that browser. Saved order records are separate from browser cookies.

Your saved preference

broadbent_consent records accepted, rejected or essential after an explicit Accept, Reject or Save choice. It is a first-party cookie with path=/, SameSite=Lax and a maximum age of 180 days; Secure is used on HTTPS. It is read by the site’s own script so your preference is available on the next page. No localStorage advertising profile is used.

Before you decide, the cookie card remains undecided across navigation and reloads. Opening Manage or using Back without saving does not record a decision. Because no optional service is installed, all choices currently leave only the essential session active.

Change or remove your choice

Use Cookie settings in the footer to reopen the panel, then Save essential only to store that choice. You can also reject from a fresh cookie card. Returning to the page without saving leaves your earlier choice unchanged. No choice is inferred from scrolling or continuing to browse.

You can delete site cookies through your browser privacy settings. Deleting the preference makes the card appear again; deleting the session also resets the cart and may disconnect your confirmation access. Browser settings may block all cookies, but ordering then cannot work reliably.

No JavaScript and future changes

Without JavaScript the native cart, variant selection and checkout still work using the essential server session. Optional services remain absent. The cookie-policy page remains readable, and browser controls can remove the essential cookie.

If optional services are introduced, the inventory, purposes and controls must be updated before activation. A stored choice here is not blanket permission for unnamed future tracking. For handling of order records rather than browser storage, read the separate Privacy Policy.
